Refund policy
Effective June 8, 2026
This policy explains when and how you can get a refund for a Lexio subscription. It applies alongside our terms of service.
Free trial
Paid plans start with a free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends from your account to avoid being billed. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the first charge is taken.
Subscriptions and renewals
Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account; your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
Because access continues through the end of the paid period, we do not automatically refund the unused part of a period when you cancel.
Requesting a refund
If you are not happy with Lexio, email us at hello@lexiolanguage.com from the address on your account within 7 days of a charge, and we will normally refund that charge in full. Outside that window we review requests case by case and may offer a full or partial refund at our discretion.
Accidental or duplicate charges are always refunded in full - just let us know.
How refunds are processed
Payments and refunds are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for your purchase. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the law where you live. Consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, for example, may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Those rights always apply on top of this policy.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first - we can almost always sort it out faster than your bank can. Opening a chargeback before reaching out may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is resolved.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
